Mr. Mayur Mehta

Mr. Mehta qualified from Newcastle University in 1984. The Upperton Road branch was a start up practice, which Mr Mehta, through hard work and determination, has established it to what it is today. He also took over the Uppingham Road branch from Mr Allen and Mr Bailey in 1993. Mr Mehta has served the community for over 30 years and has been described as a fantastic dentist, a good friend and a gentle giant by many of his patients. His calm and reassuring approach to dentistry has allowed patients to gain an excellent level of trust in him in looking after them and their families.

Manisha Mehta

Mrs Mehta has worked along side Mr Mehta as the practice manager since the the Upperton branch was set up 1988. She has helped to develop the practice to its current position and has been the forefront of the running of both surgeries. Manisha has been the welcoming face of the practice and long-standing patients always comment on her bubbly personality and smiley nature.

Manisha is now slowly transferring her responsibilities to the new practice manager Sophie Baldwin so that she can spend time with Mr Mehta in his retirement.

Manisha loves to spend time cooking up a storm for her family, keeping fit at the gym and isn’t averse to the odd gin and tonic!
